This project is a classic example of the way we work with property developers and architects to conceptualise and design luxury resorts. Batu Layar is a project still in the development stages and is a collaboration between KsaR Living, Edward Van Vliet and Studio Air Putih. The hotel will be built from the ground up in Lombok, on the frontline of the beach and with uninterrupted views across the water.

Getting to understand the needs of our clients is of utmost importance in a resort project like this. We put an incredible amount of time and effort into the initial design proposal so our customer can see their vision coming to life before we break ground onsite. From mood boards and colour palettes to sketches, 3D design renders and beyond, we draw on decades of experience in architecture and interior design to simulate the real-life experience of the future.

In this case, the clients were inspired by the KsaR Living signature holiday architecture aesthetic and wanted to apply it to their contemporary five-star resort. We look forward to seeing how this project evolves over time.
